High Resolution Stream

Video On Demand (VOD) stream encoded at ~550Kbps and suitable for delivery over WiFi and 3G. When used as part of a variant playlist the client will transparently switch between streams of higher or lower quality as available bandwidth changes.

Medium Resolution Stream

Video On Demand (VOD) stream encoded at ~260Kbps and suitable for delivery over WiFi and 3G.

Low Resolution Stream

Video On Demand (VOD) stream encoded at ~130Kbps and suitable for delivery over WiFi and 3G and Edge.

This sample movie is running at 15FPS at 480x272. The actual video size is 530KB.

Adaptive Stream

This adaptive stream will enable the device to select the optimal stream for the available bandwidth.

As the available bandwidth changes, the device will select a higher or lower quality stream transparently. There is no interruption in playback during switching.

This demo will begin by using the low resolution stream and select a higher stream after 10 seconds if suitable bandwidth is available.

V.High Resolution Stream

Video On Demand (VOD) stream encoded at ~990Kbps and is suitable for delivery over WiFi for desktop and iPad devices.

This sample movie is running at 29FPS at 640x368. The actual video size is 3.7MB.

Audio-Only with Poster Frame

Video On Demand (VOD) stream encoded at ~60Kbps and is suitable for over any network.

An audio-only stream can be used as a fallback in case of insufficient bandwidth to support streamed video. We've added a poster frame to this demo to make it a bit more interesting.
